ADJ 1000 Goes Deeper
This classic, and popular, 4” skimmer
has recently undergone a technical
improvement as a result of
European/American development
work. This has resulted in the pump
being able to self-prime when airlocked
at great depths.
The new modification ensures that any
air present in the pump is vented in a
controlled manner, such that this compressible
medium cannot hinder the
action of the pump when pumping
against a filled discharge line with a
standing head of liquid.
The pumps will now start reliably in
the most extreme of conditions.
Customers with older models, wishing
to use them in these extreme conditions,
should contact GRS for discussions
regarding pump upgrade.
